“Gigs for you” is sorted by match: distance, type of act, genre, type of venue, calendar and fee. When matches are equal, the nearest date comes first.

Lists and city pages are sorted by date.

No one can pay to rank higher. If that ever becomes possible, it will be clearly marked as “Featured”.
